Finally managed to make it look ok(or ok for me *s*).Yay ;).This stuff is quite the time consumer,isn't it?
So,um,this here will be my lj (duh) and I think it's gonna be pretty neglected at least until the end of july.Because I have exams.Tones of them.:P
Anyway I've been thinking abouth whether I should make an lj or not and just caved in in the end.And one of the reasons-actually the thing that ever got me to think about making an lj-are the lj icons *l*.I adore them,I have hundreds of them on my computer,because I like them and I like to watch them :P.Too bad I have no idea who the authors are and it would be rude to use one of them :[.Anyway-learning to make these things is definitely on my to-do-when-I-have-some-freaking-time list.
I used to be obsessed with Due South some 5 years ago-I watched the 3rd and the 4th season when they were aired here,unfortunately-that had been the last round of re-runs.Just like me to be late for such things,it's like a pattern :].Hey,that show(and PG,especially *g*) was the reason I first ever went to an internet cafe to discover the wonders of internet!
So anyway,I hadn't thought about Due South for ages when about a month ago I happened to glance across to the tv while my sister was watching that show with the haunted hospital?The one that's based on Steven King I can't remember the name now and I don't watch it.And what I saw there?Ray.*l*Well ok-Callum Keith Rennie.Something clicked *g*.I was suddenly once again experiencing the full-blown,bursting with frantic geeky energy mania.Still am and it's a bad time for it,just like it was the previous time,btw.But the horrifying thing was I watched the last aired here DS ep-and it was 5 years ago.And all I have is the pilot on a disintegrating tape.Oh,I watched it three times anyway *l*.It was pretty interesting how the person that translated it obviously did it by ear and they didn't know anything about the film...Every time Fraser says "Diefenbaker" the "diefen" gets a new meaning- F:"Diefenbaker!"="Down,Baker!","Stay,Baker!","Come on,Baker" and so on; F:"...Diefenbaker..."="Can you take care of Baker?"...*lol*.
Oh and Burning Down The House,thanks to benton_fraser and I'm thrilled to see an episode(and this particular episode) after all this time!:D
