Albena Denkova and Maxim Staviski are the World Ice Dancing Champions in Calgary 2006!They'll be going up the cute maple leaf podium right now....Omg and there's a mountie next to it *G* My fangirlishness is desorientatingly triggered from different directions :P
Finally,after all these years of being pushed down by judges,they made it in maybe their last competing season!(please,let them decide for one more,at least!)YESS!
*l*I was so nervous that I was almost afraid to look when they started.But I did watch them and they were amazing.All the couples from the last group were very good and you could feel the class that separates them from the others,but Albena and Maxim absolutely deserved to win and they also deserved the best marks for their free program,but,oh,well,it's the final result that counts.I thought that the second best were Margarita Drobiazko and What'sHisName though...
