Yes!That's exactly what happened to my German.I took German courses for a year and in the end was pretty good at it,but then I stopped using it and it went away :(.Although I must admit that I didn't like studying it or its sound(nothing personal!:]) too much and maybe that helped the forgetting process.Soon after that I got hooked up on Buffy through transcripts *cough*yeah what? ;] and realized they were airing it on Pro7 and I watched obsessively and a lot of the German came back -for the time-. *l*I may watch HCL again to check if I still can't get anything and ask!:)
