...Fan(art?)

No time and still stalling studying hard.I had the tiny excuse that I had not yet tried the new sketching set and a sketch block I got for Christmas and that was impolite of me,right?:P
I(and I bet this will come as a big surprise :P) want to draw Mildmay and Felix.Mostly Mildmay, but no matter how many times I started,I couldn't do anything approaching acceptable without a reference photo and I still can't find one.So I decided to do Felix first and then make a Mildmay, having in mind they must look alike, but adding differences.Erm,the idea to start with a crazy!Felix first, came from a photo that I could use.He didn't turn out very insane looking though :/.More like miserable.
Anyway

Sad Felix(I got a bit carried away with the hair. And the eyes were supposed to be wide and wild, but I couldn't fix them, cause these new pencils are almost unerasable :[)
and

Brian turned out better, didn't he :P

And this would have been easier with a scanner :]

oooh, that one of Brian is really fabulous:) But Felix is just as good, not how I picture him, but I love his expression and his eyes and yes. Dude.

Thank you!:D
I'm not sure it's exactly how I picture Felix, either:P.I have a problem with book characters-I almost never can picture their faces clearly in my mind.Usually I get a vague outline and facial expressions, with brief glimses at the whole thing.Which is really frustrating when I get the desire to draw them.I know I'll be changing some features a bit if I try again.

Those are both really excellent. It's not how I picture Felix (no one ever agrees on fictional characters, do they? *g*), but I love the the slightly sinister madness and sort of moodiness of it.
