THEY DID IT AGAIN :D :D :D!!!!!!
Albena Denkova and Maxim Staviski are the world ice dancing champions AGAIN!!*bounces*I'm so happy for them and for Bulgaria! It seems unreal that they would manage to do that two times,in a row,not because they are less amazing this year, but because the judging in this sport has been so very unfair to them,so often.

I don't feel the same exaltation as last year though :],in fact I can still feel last year.It was a novelty, something that had never happened in Bulgarian figure skating before.Even if they hadn't got to the first place this year, they'd still have achieved a victory that no Bulgarian skaters ever came close to before.Last year I was trembling and barely dared to breathe during they performances. This year, especially after seeing them in the Grand Prix,I almost wasn't worried at all.I just knew they would be perfect, because nothing less could be expected of them anymore. This time I was absolutely sure they would be the best yet again, but I was resigned to the fact that they would most probably not be allowed to get what they deserve for a second time. This season's free program, while great and exquisitely performed, was too dramatic for my taste. But most of all,I suppose,I can't get as happy, because all the time I was thinking "and that's it,watch them carefully now, cause that's the last time".I will miss them so much.I can only hope that they can train somebody at least partially as good as them.Albena's younger sister is also an ice dancer,so maybe that couple will have a go when they are ready, but Bulgarian figure skating won't be this big anytime soon,I'm afraid.
Oh,why am I moping, they got to be world champions two times, and I'm getting annoyed because I can't find a list of their other medals and my memory is very sporadic about details :P.But anyway, medals are far from the most important thing and they've given figure skating fans amazing performances and the last competition in their career left them with happy smiles, instead of Maxim's sarcastic/pissed-off/not-surprised-though one ;)) Thank you for these great years guys!!!
Ice Dancing in the next years will be interesting, too,I like the younger couples that are now stepping up.Not the "best" Russian couple though.
And,did I mention-YAY!;) (why,yes,I'm an obsessed figure skating fan,if that's news to anyone;P)
